Despite receiving adequate prenatal care, my son, Axl James, was born still at 38 weeks. The experience left me grappling with the profound question: how could this happen? The journey of maternal and fetal well-being is often an isolating and terrifying path. After Axl's death, I turned to art as a form of therapy.

Over the years, I explored various creative outlets with two significant goals in mind: to raise awareness about the harsh reality of fetal mortality, and to generate enough revenue to donate to organizations dedicated to research on maternal and fetal well-being.

After many years of trial and error, I took a giant leap of faith in 2025 to launch Z.Axl Designs, and our first product, Mystery Stickers. This endeavor, with the help of Axl's sister Zoey, has allowed us to channel our creativity into something meaningful in Axl's memory. Through our efforts, we hope to honor his life and make a positive impact on other families facing similar challenges.
